Would you like to experience the cherry trees in full bloom? Then visit the annual cherry blossom festival in Hamburg! The festivities on the Alster have been held every year since 1968 to celebrate the cherry blossom and are framed by around 5,000 cherry trees in bloom. A festive firework display over the river is the highlight of the festivities.
