Sustainability

Our claim for a better future.

The Fischer sustainability promise

As a family business in its fourth and fifth generation, we at Fischer Trauringe don't just think from today to tomorrow - we think in generations. This awareness shapes our actions: for love, for the environment and for people worldwide.

We therefore see sustainability as a personal aspiration. A standard that we set for ourselves and for future generations. As a family business, we see it as our responsibility to set a good example: for sustainable production, ethical behavior and the protection of our planet.

We therefore work exclusively with 100% recycled precious metals, rely on renewable energies and guarantee compliance with ethical principles and the protection of human rights along the entire supply chain.

"For us, corporate responsibility means not only making love visible in rings, but also making a contribution to a sustainable future - with respect for people, materials and the environment."

Together together with our partners, we want to inspire couples to combine love and sustainability - for a future in which values endure.

Diamonds

Made for love, made with love

For us, it goes without saying that neither people nor the environment should suffer for the beauty of a diamond. That is why all our diamonds come exclusively from conflict-free countries and bear the Kimberley certificate. These strict standards apply along the entire supply chain and guarantee an ethical origin - for radiant values that come from the heart.

Recycling of precious metals

Gold is one of the most valuable resources on our planet - and a finite one at that. Nevertheless, we want to ensure that there will still be enough gold in the future. That is why we consistently focus on recycling: instead of tapping into new resources, we bring existing precious metals back into the cycle and thus take responsibility for people and the environment.

4. cleaning & fine gold extraction

Chemical processes are used to bring the gold to 99.99% purity and turn it into fine granules.

Circular economy

Gold is not only found in jewelry, but also in electronic devices. As natural resources are dwindling, it is all the more important to use existing stocks and return them to the cycle.

Local value creation

The recycling process takes place locally in Pforzheim. In this way, we create jobs in the region and strengthen the local communities. High ethical standards for fair working conditions apply.

No environmental interventions

By recycling precious metals, we avoid environmentally harmful mining practices. State-of-the-art filter and waste water systems prevent our production from causing environmental damage.

Reduce CO2 emissions

99% less
CO₂ emissions

Recycled gold produces up to 99% less CO₂ than newly mined gold. Together with renewable energies, we thus reduce our environmental impact to a minimum.

Made in Germany - added value on site

The entire value creation process takes place in Pforzheim. From the melting of the alloys to the blank productionrting through to the final stepengraving, everything takes place on site.

Sustainable business practices

Photovoltaic system

Our wedding ring production is energy-intensive. Responsible use of energy is therefore a top priority for us. Thanks to our photovoltaic system, we cover around 90% of our electricity requirements ourselves on an annual average. We obtain the remaining share entirely from external, certified green electricity sources.

Waste water and waste material handling

With state-of-the-art filter systems and regular inspections, we ensure that our production meets all environmental regulations. We take targeted measures to reduce fine dust, aerosols and micro-particles, thereby minimizing pollution for people and the environment.
