250 Years of Pforzheim – the “City of Gold”: A special anniversary, a special piece of jewellery!

The wedding ring manufacturer Fischer & Sohn from Pforzheim presents a beautiful jubilee ring to honour the 250th anniversary of the jewellery and watch industry in Pforzheim.

For almost 100 of these 250 years, Fischer has been shaping the city’s history and has experienced both the highs and the lows, the endless ups and downs of the city.

“Infinite” means beyond any size, beyond anything comparable. This also applies to Pforzheim. The story of the formation and historical development of a city is beyond comparison.

Taking this extraordinary development as an occasion, Fischer reflects on the past 250 years in an equally special ring: The infinity of the city’s history is visualised by its corresponding symbol wrapped around the ring. The 100 years that Fischer has already contributed to the history of Pforzheim are expressed by 100 sparkling diamonds.

This ring was awarded by the association “Deutsche Manufakturen e.V.” in the category “Manufacture Product of the Year 2017: Value and Quality”.
